Serpents Stone Wall

In southern Ohio below the sacred **Serpent Mound Effigy (one of the great and mysterious wonders of the world) are stone cliff walls. These walls are now beleived to be the impact site from an unknown cosmic crash. There is new found evidence of green glass like matter imbedded into the rocky cliff wall. This type of "glass" only comes from nuclear test facilities and cosmic asteroid and meteor crashes. Interesting huh? You are at the closest point in this world to the Earths crust. You also will stumble upon large scorched & blackened rocks. This photograph shows you the holes or little caves in the wall. The wall is located under the serpents head where it is said to be swallowing the sun or an egg. The hike down was rugged but worth the effort. The massive energy on the wall with the green cast inclusions makes your body tingle with delight. This place needs to be a "must see" before you leave this world. **20% of my profit from each sale of this beautiful print will be donated to the Historical Serpent Mound Effigy Preservation.

GREAT CAPTURE IT LOKS LIKE A FACE

Artist Reply: Thank you Loredana. I saw many faces in this rock wall too. I can sit and stare at it and let my imagination run wild. :-)

welcome back, Kandice :)) such places always reminds me at the lively and magical power of nature - gorgeous!

Artist Reply: How right you are Doris! After losing a close uncle, 4 of my bestest animal friends and having a small heart attack all in a month, this is just what I needed. I charged with this wall. I put both hands on it and the energy just swept through my body and left me tingling for days... still a bit tingly. :-) I feel like a new woman again! This place was the most incredible thing I have ever seen or experianced.. and I've seen and experianced alot in my short years in this life LOL! Thank you so much for your comments. I really appreciate them. It's good to be back!

I don't know about Ohio, but this really sounds interesting. Not only that, this image is beautiful. I can see so much just gazing at the rock. Excellent composition and presentation.

Artist Reply: It's a great place to visit! It's one of the worlds great wonders along with Stonehenge and the Pyramids in Egypt. It has had little attention in my opinion. Although I admit only having about 3 other people there and no one else with us on the hiking trail was wonderful. However it told me not enough people knew about this fantastic effigy created by the ancient ones and it's surroundings. I am donating 20% of my profit on all print sales of Serpent Mound & related photographs. The upkeep is mostly volunteer work and the museum is smaller than most garages. These types of places need to remain open to the public and receive proper funding to allow themselves advertisement to reach the people. I hope I can help them out with my photography. :-) If your ever in the U.S.A and happen to pass through southern Ohio, don't miss this place! It's only seven dollars for parking and that includes entrance. No added expenses anywhere. I appreciate your comments on this photograph. It was amazing being so close and able to walk right up and lean into it. I can't describe in words how my body & mind felt. These walls seem to speak and tell stories just by looking at them. It was a fantastic journey and I hope to do it again very soon! Thanks again so much for your wonderful comments! Peace, Love & Light, Kandice Thompson
