On a day when my favorite color was purple (it changes every day for you, too, right?), I was moved to paint what you see here. I am drawn time and again to the image of water lilies, I just stop and stare and can't look away. This was created using a ref photo that I took at the St. Louis, MO Botanical Gardens. What a lovely day that was, now I can live with that memory forever...
