Many thanks to Kathleen Strukle for allowing me use her photo to do this piece of artwork. The little princess is returning home after dancing at the Pow Wow. When I saw her photo I also pictured the whole scenario of a little girl dancing her heart out and coming home tired but happy as she had performed for the elders with the other children. Mother is in the distance waiting for her return. :))
