Rose Hill Manor Gardens

This is from a historical Colonial Manor home in Frederick Maryland. It is a living Museum of History. I have been to this lovely place many times in the past when I used to live in Frederick, Maryland. It has a lovely garden and grounds, that are still grown as it was in colonial times. I had a lot of fun exploring the gardens and took some wonderful photos that I will be posting soon. This shot is of just the center of the garden, with the wisteria vines in the center all entwined in the center. It was a muggy, hot day, but I was able to get some good captures before leaving and the rain began to fall. It brought back memories of Girl Scout troops having special history events that I used to take them to and work at day camps to learn about local history. The house is beautifully preserved as well and all the outer buildings as well. Highly recommend visiting it if yo're ever in the area.

very beautiful....nice garden...

Artist Reply: Thanks Bianca! I hope to one day have a garden of such beauty. I will be moving in a year or so and will be working at gardening with my husband and landscaping it. I can't wait as I've always wanted a huge garden and some orchards. I have some here, now, but didn't want to do too much as we have been planning to move eventually.
