little spider

As I admired the flowers around the hotel I was staying, I happen to spot a very small spider that had made a web benaath a blossom. Ithought it much more interesting than the blossom this time. This spider was found in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, and was about 1/4 inch in size.

Great shot Terry...makes the flower look a little like a giant!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks Deborah! The spider was a tiny one. It was an unexpected surprize. I was staying overnight at a lovely hotel in the Ozarks that had a marvolous garden all around it. I got up early to get some shots and spotted this guy when I moved in for a macro of the flower.

Hey Terry! Welcome back! nice shot - your chaperone?

Artist Reply: LOL! Thanks Joseph! This one was a tiny spider, but I do love finding them, as long as they aren't on me! Found another spider beauty that I will post up tomorrow. That one was larger, but spectacular in color. Glad to be back, am trying to catch up. Will pop in your gallery soon.

The capture of the inner web is so light.....the photo looks like he is floating through the air on the web....really beautiful

Artist Reply: Thank you Tazda! It was such a tiny web, and I was lucky the lighting caught it well.

Artist Reply: Thanks Emily! Always on the watch as I get brown recluse, tarantulas, and black widows around my property.
