Artist Reply: Emily this painting was sold at a group exhibition within 10 minutes of the opening, yes it is very interesting and is part of my small collection of works.
Enchanting...Simply marvelous work...that little red heart on the roof really gets me, and that tree is so inviting. such a dleightful image and style, brings cheer to the soul. Excellent creation, Dimitris. Almost like some wonderful elegant tall bird would reside there...has an air of holy sweetness somehow.
Artist Reply: Thank you Christine, for your kind words, yes it does have a holy nature, my work has a close tie to greek orthodox Icon painting studies, I have made for years. My surrealist style tends to be conservative to greek tradition but seeks to offer another option. Searching for the truth in Love as spiritual behavior of nature.
