36 x 48 x 1.5" deep canvas frame (painted around the edges) It is often my intention,(for better or worse) to slightly step outside the box. This painting, developed predominantly on the underlying form and graphic structure, with less intent towards the decorative. To me, it says, that Peace and Tranquility (Repose) as we perceive it, is often not what we typically expect, or even recognize. Often.... it is elusive, like beauty, and may only be recognized in the eye and mind of the beholder.

Elegant, charming, and beautiful (and yes, tranquil and calming too). You've really captured the quiet, mesmorizing nature of watching goldfish swim in a pond. Your control with acrylics is admirable.Anonymous Guest 08 Jul 2006
I visited NH and VT this past week and was thinking of you. I drove by a river that was crystal clear and I could see the pebbles on the bottom! Made me think of your glorious paintings. I adore your works.John Enright 06 Jul 2006
