A painting of Philippine pop / rock star Barbie Almalbis on stage with her guitar. This pastel on paper painting was based on an advertisement for Golds Gym that appeared in the Philippine Star of May 15, 2006. Barbie Almalbis is one of my favorite Filipina pop / rock stars. She looks great, she is a very intelligent girl and she is a highly accomplished musician! (She's also very fit - thanks apparently to Golds Gym!)
