In Progress 108 is the number of spiritual completion. Mantras and prayers are traditionally counted with Malas or Rosaries, consisting of 108 beads each. Since ancient liberating secrets are concealed within Pono’s artwork, she wishes her prints to circulate around the globe like Rosaries of Freedom Chant mantras.
