Although it is not the original garden at Tumacacori, the first mission in Arizona, it is a replica of mission gardens everywhere. This garden was built in 1937 as part of the visitor center and contains native plants of the Sonoran desert, herbs and fruit trees. That is a large mesquite tree near the back wall.
