Cedar Perch

Shortly after my children left for school, my phone rang. "Mom, there's a cool white heron on top of the cedar tree!" exclaimed my daughter. I ran out of the house to find this beautiful creature posing gracefully for me against a background of very pale clouds. This is one of my favorites.
