(c)2006 As it stands today cars and trucks have few, not very well lit, identification lights. And except for some well decked out, brightly lit, semi-trucks, most vehicles are obscure at best at night. So perhaps in the future there will be neon light strips illuminating the outlines of vehicles. It might even be required by law.
