This is the second attempt of drawing Einstein. This time, I am using Strathmore Bristol vellum 11x14 inch. The drawing area is significantly larger than what I have worked with before. I immediately noticed the difference between the smooth and vellum paper surface. Vellum is considerably rougher. I also focused closer into the portrait. I never thought I would willingly draw the same picture twice, but I have done so. I believe the latest version contains better detail, and more closely resembles the source photograph. I probably invested 12..14 hours in time.
