I recently created an Impressionist preset for creating tiled mosaics (as a response to a RetouchPro forum). Here is a sample of my preset in action (had to full around with it to get it to do this, but that's the fun of using this preset). I'll pass a link to the preset for those who respond to this post. Just remember to select the "More Controls" option to modify parameters to your liking. :)
