A pair of Allosaurus fragilis attack a pair of Diplodocus (Seismosaurus) hallorum. This artwork was completed from November 2004 through February 2005 with a combination of graphite, charcoal, and carbon pencils on a 11"x14" illustration board. Specifically, the dinosaurs were completed in charcoal (mostly 2B and 4B), the trees in carbon (mostly B through 4B) and the ferns and background in graphite. I was fortunate to receive help from established paleoartist, Scott Hartman, in addition to direction from my art teacher, Don Phillips. It appeared in the magazine entitled Prehistoric Times issue #71.
