This drawing is actually a character from a game called Virtua Fighter 4. The characters name is Jackie Bryant. When I saw how his coat looked I wanted to make my drawing look like the image from the game. It is not 100% but I guess it's close. This drawing took me somewhere around 15 hours. It was meant for an envelope contest.

shading with ball point pens sounds incredibly difficult but it must feel gratifying to see the result

Artist Reply: it is... especially when you can zoom in after scanning it, I surprise myself sometimes with the outcome of some of my drawings...

Artist Reply: thank you very much... ball point pens are very good with shading if your willing to spend half your life on drawing...(jk) they take a while to draw but it's worth it
