Maple and Myogi-san

It was late Autumn in Gunma Prefecture and a bring clear day. The only trees still holding on to their leaves were the maples. We drove to Mt. Myogi in hopes of capturing some of that autumn scenery. This was the first of several places we stopped. Minolta 801si alpha, 24mm lens, Fujichrome Velvia 50, polarizing filter, no colour manipulation.

A magnificent tree! Love the angle & the way it turns gracefully. Your photos are truly a treat to behold & yes, your deep respect of nature really comes through in your work.
