This was taken at a lovely lake in northern Alabama. On this occasion, I went with my older daughter and youngest son and a friend of my sister's. My sister was sick and couldn't come. :( While the others went off across the little lake to go exploring further, I noticed this tiny and very unusual flower, so I stayed to photograph it.
