Plain Jane.

This is drawn from a beautiful photograph taken by deviant artist, Photoyildirim. I just loved the concept and appeal of the pic, so I decided to recreate it in a different medium. I used an array of graphite pencils, soft lead color pencils, and a few other random tools to complete this piece. It took about 4 hours total. I think it came out really wonderful. I haven't used color pencils in years and I am very pleased with how that portion of the picture turned out. I hope you think so too! Let me know. ta-ta!

The worst part about solid color is the difficulty blending away the blatant white underneath, however for not using it in a long time, the only thing that's tricky with skin tone is it's layers. Depths of many different colors to make "one" is very difficult to properly recreate. Lip texture in both sides are close to photogenic.
