First Hero...Last Hope

It's one of my most thought-provoking paintings! The poverty and neglect of the world's children, a dilemma that even Santa must face!

Hello Cathie! Greetings from the wild wet mountains of Wales. This is a really lovely painting and very profound. Looking at the figure seated in the chair, is it Jesus or Santa Claus? Somehow they're inextricably linked because they're both someone we want desperately to believe exsists. Great composition and concept. Wonderful work. Keep going!

Artist Reply: It is Santa Claus, but again if anyone prefers it to be Jesus all well and good, many thanks Cath
