Cain and Abel

I would have to say that among every serial killer there ever was, Cain has to be my favorite: With one blow (so they say), he killed one third of the world's population. That's how the saying goes, I believe. However, their math might be off a bit. Cain is on the right. He is in hues of green because he grew plants. He was "a tiller of the ground". Abel is on the left. He is in red hues because he was "a keeper of sheep". He also slaughtered those same sheep in sacrifice to their god. I'm not certain on why Cain killed Abel. There are so many different pieces of folklore that surround the murder and why it happened. If you also notice, there is no mark on Cain. I'm refusing to jump into that can of worms since no one knows what the mark of Cain is. I also refuse to paint Cain as an immortal wanderer or a vampire. No piece of folklore backs this up. Instead, it does say that Cain live until an old age and even had a family and became a great man in a land he founded, Enoch....until he, himself, was accidenatlly killed by his great-grandson Lamech. So, there it is. (my husband modelled for me for all of the stocka nd the image itself is mine.)
