I found this quaint English cottage and barn at Greenfield Village in Dearborne Michigan. It was transported to that location and reassembled. I believe it dates from the 16th century. The fall colors and the hues in the garden made for a wonderful painting. My duaghter loves this painting. I feel a kinship to English subjects since I was born in England. I have duo citizenship being born on a US military base to US parents, but English soil. I stayed in England a whole 8 weeks....just long enough to pick up the accent.
