I agree with Les. In this picture we are made aware of the cooperation between the men and their animals in order to achieve their goal. So while there must be kinship among the men there must be trust and faithfullness between the camels and their masters.

A simply great rendering and your adage is one people should always remember.
There is a kinship system and tribal solidarity that provides a sense of security in the desert wilderness. One must also have strong faith in ones ablities, so you and your beast can make your journey safely... This is a wonderful painting - so much detail! So bright and colourful! Wonderful how they are all working together to get ready for their trip... Excellent watercolour painting Francis!! :o)
