Ever wish you could go back in time and thank a person that with hindsight made a profound impact on your life. The man who i wrote this poem for was just such a person. At the age of 18 and on the edge of adulthood between the beliefs of my parents and those of my own, he helped me cross over. Picture Baxter's Harbor, Nova Scotia in the middle of summer on the Bay of Fundy in a cabin with cold water, and some electricity. I was there with the woman i worked for and her friend Murray who delighted in the fun of tormenting me and making me question everything i believed. It was the dawning of my age of disbelief. He managed to deprogram me and allow me to find my own way in the world. Thank you Murray. This poem is quite old and am posting it for him. Original digital work and flame, along with original poem.
