As members of AW might be beginning to guess I have political opinion. I pay a lot of attention to what goes on. Just get me started and I'll bore you to tears! This cartoon is about the Democrats of 2004. They paniced. They hired a thousand lawyers and actually worked in tandem with the GOP in keeping third party candidates to a minimum since any third pull off was going to bother them both on local elections. This cartoon is about that. It's one I sent to a lawyer working for the Democratic party against Nader and the Reform Party. Little is known about a Florida case, but it established that a national party for nomination of a president could be any size and need not have a bank account which would establish their having a reasonalbe chance of supporting the election of their nominee. That is actually the biggest win the independent minded citizen has had in this nation since Carter, a Democrat, was elected.
