Artist Reply: Ah, thank you so much! This work was, in part, an effort to get some different use from pallet colors. Soon I hope to post a better photograph of my poor Bast and honor Her better. She has a great deal of depth and transparent layers but they cannot be clearly seen right now. This is created from a tiny little bust at the Cincinnati Art Museum, who's collection contains many wonderful works from far ago days gone by.

Great reproduction of a bust of Bast! Very appropriate color for the background. Bast is my Matron, and this is a great piece to honor Her.
