Well done indeed, but I would never-ever have this portrait in my home... Very disturbing.

Artist Reply: Ohhh.. But why not?, who wants flowers, or lakes on the walls these days :). Think different, you are all artist. This is an illustration. By the way, not all that is art is meant to hang in someones little altar. Just food for thought. ;)

i agree with steph or it kinda reminds me of Sleepy Hollow the johnny depp movie

Artist Reply: Thanks for the coments, Well to be honest it all started for fun, to test my wacom tablet using Adobe Photoshop painting features. I went freehand and sculpted his face, to those images of my "twisted mind". (Not realy I am not that twisted) :), In my opinion I try to paint things that you normaly dont see on your day to day. Letting your mind pour visuals on the canvas. As I was rendering his face, the whole Jack The Ripper concept came into mind, so I started painting him with a coat of the era. I Like those old photos of that time, their hair styles, and their face expessions are realy interesting. So Jack the ripper with no Top Hat I suppose. :) well it's left as a blank for filling. The painting never got compleated, as I move to other things quickly; after all this was just to try my new wacom tablet.

It reminds me of the film, The picture of Dorian Grey. A debauched young man who's physical effects of his bad lifestyle, were transfered into his portrait that he kept hidden. Well either that or this is suposed to be a vampire? He looks very scary, but at the same time it is a very good painting.
