I love this shot of the ferris wheel on the pier. I wonder what would happen if it was straightened and a little cropped off the right side to fill the picture with geometric lines, shapes and colours. I might have even laid down on my stomach when shooting this to try and hide the white roof behind the striped top of the merry-go-round. (Finding the shooting position would be hard as clearly you don't want the black, steel fence at the bottom, to interfere with the image or statement.) You've inspired me. The next time I am in Chicago...
Artist Reply: thanks for the constructive criticism Ken. I have grown in my techniques since this was taken. not afraid to lie on the ground or crawl on top of things as much! I just posted another one I took that day. tell me what you think. I love that city.
