Wounded and Lonely

Taken at The Hermitage, President Andrew Jackson's Tennessee property. The trees on his property were devastated by tornado in 1996. Many of the trees have lived on.

Old trees are my downfall. I love this photo its always so great to notice things like an old tree for that awesome 'nervous system' appeal to them. Ill never get enough at just awe'ing at trees just like this one.

Artist Reply: What nice things to say Jonathan. Thanks so much. I too love the old baron trees.

poetic

Artist Reply: Thank you Paul. This are historical trees on Andrew Jackson's property. Our community was devastated by the loss of many just like these in a 1996 tornado. They are all rallying back to life in these beautiful shapes now and very interesting, telling a 'poetic' story. Your description was right on!
