The Travelers

A group of travelers roaming from place to place. James Christensen is one of my favorite artists, and his work provided a lot of inspiration for this image. This was made with ink and watercolor.

i was just thinking, before i read the blurb, that this piece felt a lot like a christensen piece. his work is fabulous. and this piece is fabulous too!

Have you ever considered illustrating children's books...you are so talented....I could just imagine the beautiful books created full of your art! Great job!

Artist Reply: Thank you Casey! I have thought about looking into children's book illustration in the future, but for now I have a day job, and spend quite a lot of time on each picture, so I haven't yet pursued it seriously.

Artist Reply: Well there's no book to go along this picture, just an idea really, about a group of travelers wandering around, adding new layers to their outfits as they go. :) Thank you everyone for your comments!
