During October 2026, I attempted to restore a painting on crumbling thin silk, which I painted in approximately 1996.
This painting originally hung in my apartment and was later moved to a room in my parents' house.
It was one of the paintings that my father, may his memory be blessed, particularly loved.
The restoration of the painting was primarily for the purpose of documenting my work.
As I worked on it again, additional cuts or crumblings appeared in it.
This fact also creates future inspiration.
In the lower image, a yard cat that was born near my parents' house is seen. It examines the painting.
