Daughter of the Crane

She is not dancing for an audience. Her movement is directed toward the wind, the light, and the memory that exists beyond words. The female figure and the white bird gradually lose their boundaries and merge into a single image. The gesture of the hand echoes the curve of the wing, while the flowing folds of the garment continue the movement of the air, turning the dance into an ancient ritual. It becomes impossible to tell whether we are looking at a woman transformed into a bird or a bird that has taken human form. In many cultures, the crane symbolizes wisdom, fidelity, longevity, and the ability to move between worlds. In this work, it becomes a symbol of inner freedom, while the dance embodies the crossing of invisible boundaries between the earthly and the celestial, memory and premonition. Daughter of the Crane is a story of transformation, of the delicate balance between strength and tenderness, and of the moment when a human being hears the voice of the wind and remembers their true nature.
