**Jacaranda Blossoms — A Touch of Purple Above Maui** A cluster of brilliant purple jacaranda blossoms hangs gracefully from a tree branch, framed by blue skies, drifting clouds, and the distant Pacific Ocean. Jacaranda trees are a memorable part of Maui's Upcountry landscape, particularly during their seasonal flowering period when their lavender-blue blossoms add extraordinary color to the hillsides. What drew me to this composition was the contrast between the delicate flowers in the foreground and the expansive island scenery beyond. The natural curve of the branch frames the blossoms, bringing together the intimate beauty of a flowering tree and the openness of Maui's landscape.
