Second Angel Sounds Rev 8:8

This is a painting I did based on the Book of Revelation ch 8:8. It is one of a series of angels that I have been working on. In this scene an angel blows his trumpet and a rock is ripped out of the heavens and is thrust towards earth in the form of a large meteor. An angel in a white robe and wings ascends a staircase in space. A meteor streaks across the starry sky, creating a dynamic scene.
