Sunrise in The Valley

This is a painting of the Gunnison river area the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. The river runs through the west side of the town where it has carved out cliff sides along its banks. In this scene there is a clump of trees that are on the edge of the small cliff overlooking the unseen river below .Two trees with vivid red foliage stand at the edge of a dramatic cliff. The background blends warm and cool tones, suggesting a dynamic sky.
