SANTA WITH A TWIST- The “maypole” was the May Day centerpiece of dancing in circles and weaving ribbons into patterns. It was rooted in ancient pagan rituals. The celebration linked the earthly and celestial realms. Since Christmas was also a pagan celebration, it suits my visual purpose, So folks, in the tradition of community gathering and joyful celebration, Happy Holidays
