Quiet backwater

This graphic sheet is inspired by the landscapes of the Dutch artist Jacob van Ruisdael. He was called the “forest psychologist” because the images of nature that he created in his paintings are filled with a deep reflection of the feelings of the observer. That is, this is much more than a simple plausible image of nature as it is. "Quiet Backwater" is also full of similar reflections. Such places are calm and even cozy. Tired of adventure or bustle, people can rest and relax here. But if you linger in a quiet backwater for too long, you can lose your initiative, and it is precisely this that turns a banal existence into a full-fledged active life. The dark spot of the lake in the lower right corner symbolizes the passivity of a stable, inactive existence. It doesn't even reflect anything. To the right we can see light water covered with light waves. This is where the path to a world full of adventure begins. Yes, it is unpredictable and often unfair. Every person is free to choose what it likes. Or you can simply alternate between these two modes of being.
