Great wooden stuff again, David! To make such things you've got to have a real workshop in your household!!!

Nice to think of it appreciated somewhere though, Dave. Do you always keep the wood raw and unoiled? A bit of wood oil usually brings out the grain. Anyway, a very nice piece. Hope all is good. Number 7 is coming along. :)

Artist Reply: I like to use boiled linseed oil a lot or danish oil . I've also used a deck stain on pieces that I kept outside in the elements. Sure would like to know someday where this one ended up. They go on journeys some times : ) looking forward to your #7 ... we are still getting some warm temps , but not so hot that I can't work outside thankfully.

SO BEAUTIFULLY DONE DAVE . WOULD BE NEAT TO BE ABLE TO DO CARVING. POD

Artist Reply: Thank you so much Joanie : ) you should try it ! although once you're hooked, you'll have a desire to do more and more, I'm pretty much self taught and still learning. There are scores of tutorials on you tube as well as people that blow me away.
