Cliffs of September

This is another painting for a show that I have at Western State University here in Gunnison Colorado. This image is not of any particular area but was inspired by the Western Slope of Colorado. A dramatic landscape features a vivid blue chasm cutting through warm earth tones, with trees lining the top edge of large cliffs. The contrasting colors create a striking visual, evoking a sense of depth and natural drama.
