Artist Reply: I love the way you treat my modest efforts, Charles. I have three step brothers older than me and the shadow is of the oldest one who lives in Crimea.

Artist Reply: I made a photo of this door a couple of years ago in Crimea (a have a brother there). It must have lived a long life. Your guess about its vicinity to the sea is right. Thank you!
