Wonderful still-life with a good perspective! Reminds me of the paintings by Giorgio Morandi, but done in your own style and pictorial sentiment...good job!

Well represented oil; not exactly photorealistic but, to my eye, that's a plus. Love the way you painted the drops of jam. I've never had rose jam but I can only imagine its sweetness---and this is one 'sweet' painting also, Lea. Hope all is good where you are. :)

Artist Reply: Thank you for your opinion.I am an impressionist who draws from nature, but not a realist, much less a photorealist. My goal is not to faithfully copy the object but to convey its fleeting nature.
