This was a soft pastel on charcoal paper for Mom in 2012. I thought that channeling art with a message was the best gift to present to her. Mom was the first supporter. I, for a long time, thought that was the responsibility of a mother. She did not have to appreciate my work. Mom always asked for art pieces. Every time I think about this, I thank her.
