Light on water has always attracted me when away on holiday and I combine my love of painting with photography. Literally drawing with light. My photographs have inspired many sunset paintings over the years . Painted on a 16x16 cms stretched canvas in 2020 this is an original oil painting of a sunset seascape with the title inspired by the light breaking through the clouds. I enjoy working in oils especially in an impasto technique to add texture effects.
