This scene is inspired by my love of painting water scape scenes and mountains in the misty distance with a boat to give human involvement to the scene.Produced here in pastel on paper. I love the misty, gentle tones that pastel gives and the blending of the colours is also very theraputic and gives very subtle colour and tonal shifts. I enjoy producing landscape and water scenes in pastel and find them very relaxing both to make and to view as they have a misty quality.
