Sorry for the continued reply on this. I have a 650x1300mm long lens, it's heavier than I thought it would be, with my Nikon attached it's 10.5lbs, on a tri pod it tilts a little. I think I need a smaller one, moon shots are 2 tri pods, one to hold the lens the other the camera. lol

How close you getting? You have a long lens for this? Tough shot to get without scaring them away I'll bet. Nice work!

Artist Reply: 150-600mm lens, yes it’s good to have a long zoom for birds, I have a macro lens for my floral shots
