Shiny... I'm still unsure as too whether I actually like this piece or not. It is a very experimental work using a lot of layers, features, options, textures and more-or-less tools that photoshop offers and of which I have never really explored in any way. The woman, anyone who has been with me for a few months will have seen before. She was sketched ages ago, posted a few months ago, and coloured this past week. What can I say? Shes simple, but I love her. ^_^ A second to last note: Although I have always been intrigued by aboriginal art, myth and custom I have never really explored it. Thus I dont know what a lot of the symbols mean... yes, that does mean that the background images in this piece were choosen purely on artistic merit. Which brings us too my last point... As a final note: The images in the background are not mine. I have no background in aboriginal art and the style is lost to my meager skills. Those images you see were altered from pictures of a statue and a print that I found while exploring the "web". I VERY rarely use images that ar enot mine, anyone who knows me will be able to tell you how much I despise it, however, this piece needed that extra 'umph'.
