I love your beautiful and creative works of art! I visited your Zazzle site and see you have published a book of your art. Have you thought about writing and illustrating a Children’s book? And, by the way, is your name Blythe? I had this doll when I was a child, but I always felt sorry for her because she looked so sad. She came in a tattered sackcloth dress and barefoot, and even when I would dress her in my other doll’s clothes, I was surprised she was still sad. Lol

Artist Reply: Hi, Sherrie! Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery and my Zazzle shop, and for your very kind and encouraging comments. While I love children's books, I have zero interest in illustrating one--it would take me way too long--but I do appreciate your encouragement. My real name is Toni, and my artist name is Blonde Blythe. The doll you're referring to is called "Little Miss No Name," and she was made by Hasbro in 1965. The original "Blythe" doll has changing eyes (they change colors and position with the tug of a string), and was made by Kenner in 1972. Both dolls are sought after collector's items today.
