Your ship is finally coming in! It is a time of moving forward, and maybe even literally moving, as in travel, whether it be via planes, trains, or automobiles! Your little chinchilla* guides are ever vigilant anticipating next moves! *Please do not shop for chinchillas in pet stores or from breeders. I do not want my paintings to suggest we should keep them as pets (or in any way wear their fur! Yikes!) The chin chins are symbolic If you want to be a chinchilla guardian, please go where there is need. There are many small animal rescues who re-home chinchillas that were born in captivity and ultimately surrendered. (Idaho Guinea Pig & Friends Sanctuary is one in my area that primarily takes in guinea pigs, but they are always looking for homes for bunnies, rats, chinchillas, and other small wonders. Consider providing a home for one of their many little loves!) Basically, my message is adopt don't shop. Please be vigilant and do not contribute to the $$ market that keeps these wonderfully sensitive creatures in a captivity cycle. Living in the wild and in our imaginations is a world I hope to see for all chinchillas one day! Thank you.
