Angraecum sesquipedale and Livingstones Turaco

The Star of Bethlehem or Comet orchid is really something else to see in person. The large waxy flowers have a very long nectar spur and are pollinated by moths with an equally long tongue. One of my favorites.

DJ! TY 4 THE COMMENTS ON MY WORK. YOUR WATERCOLOR IS FINER THAN FINE, I have not done alot of watercolor n when I see something this detailed n controlled I am always amazed. I am kind afraid of watercolor paper buckling n the watermark edging I hate. This is such glorious work. I must try to learn to be like this one day. Peace to your heart n blessings for your love.

excellent illustration in watercolor, however; you should take this into an image program and improve the contrast of mid tones, lights and shadows.. the colors will then pop and enhance your image...
