SHIELD FACE - Reversible painting on recycled wooden door from a cupboard. The piece of wood was handmade, it's a recycled support, so it does not have a perfect rectangular shape, especially at the top part, as one should expect, making it look rather rustic, just so. Keep in mind that this is a DUAL-FACED painting. You can decorate at your leisure using whathever face you like. I found it interesting to paint like this. As for the technique: tempera/gouache on wood (obviously), with some touch of acrylic. All varnished. Signed and dated on both faces (the signature being a painting in itlself - I enjoy creating lots of details, without destroying the general aspect).
